I got this message last night from Dan. Please be praying for him, Nathan and the Papua New Guinean guides with them.
His message:
“Today (your yesterday) was very wet it rained most of the day and a lot of mud and slick clay on the path. Tomorrow we have about six water crossings and the Papua New Guinean guides I think are a bit worried about them. Be praying for safety. I miss you all and am already sick of taro, kaukau (think sweet potato only drier) and pitpit.”
He does have a few snacks with him mainly to go with his malaria meds but it can be very exhausting and then not having much protein and lots and lots of rain can just make you not think clear and that’s when things happen. Pray that their rest is multiplied. Pray that each footstep will be placed carefully and helped by the Lord going before them and hemming them in. Pray against the enemy who doesn’t want the Aighon people to learn how to read, because then they will read their upcoming Bible.
Praying now for all and you and the kids as you wait at home, Tonita.
Thanks so much Liz! ~Tonita
